Victorian Bar records impressive growth in pro bono work

Victorian barristers have increased their pro bono work by 36 per cent, compared to the previous 12 month period, according to the latest data released at the annual Victorian Bar Pro Bono Awards. The bar provided the people of Victoria with 33,624 hours of pro bono representation between 1 May 2010 and 30 April 2011, worth an estimated $11.7M in legal fees. Learn more>
