Members are invited to an afternoon of interesting discussion to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the founding of Pave the Way for Peace. Talks will be held in the Waratah Room, Parliament House (Macquarie Street) on 21 June 2011 at 1.30 for 2.00pm start. The first topic is titled "The Peace Works of Jessie Street" which will be delivered by Sir Laurence Street and Janette McHugh (approx 1 hour). Afterwards, there will be a talk by Dr Astrid Birgden, Consultant Forensic Psychologis,t who has been working in harnessing the law to engage offenders in change using therapeutic jurisprudence. Astrid was the former�director of the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre in Sydney. At 5.00pm guests will adjourn for dinner at NSW Leagues Club. The function is free. Dinner at own cost.
