Final reminder for comment on Commonwealth provisions of new model WHS bill

Commonwealth, state and territory governments have agreed to harmonise occupational health and safety arrangements by December 2011 through the implementation of a model Act and Regulations. The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations has invited comment on the Commonwealth specific provisions of the Commonwealth Work Health and Safety Bill, which will be implemented from 1 January 2012.
