Nominations are now open for the 2011 Human Rights Awards. Nominations will close on Friday, 9 September, with winners to be presented with their awards at a ceremony on Friday, 9 December 2011 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. For nomination forms and to order your tickets visit the Australian Human Rights Commission's web site. The Law Award, which is sponsored by the Law Council of Australia, is presented to an individual or an organisation with a proven track record in promoting and advancing human rights in Australia through the practice of law.
