Appointments to note in the New South Wales Parliament

Two members of the Bar Association have been appointed to noteworthy positions in parliament. Mr Mark Speakman SC MP, member for Cronulla, has been nominated to chair the New South Wales Parliament's Joint Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption. The Hon Adam Searle was elected deputy leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council.
