Legislation to note: Civil Dispute Resolution Act 2011 (Cth)

Parts 2 to 5 of the Civil Dispute Resolution Act 2011 (Cth) have been proclaimed to commence on 1 August 2011. Last month the Bar Association's ADR Committee published a schedule setting out the main provisions of the Civil Procedure Act 2005 (NSW) and_ Civil Dispute Resolution Act 2011_ (Cth) concerning pre-litigation requirements in certain civil disputes and proceedings.
