Increased penalties for motor vehicle offences

The _Roads Amendment (Penalty Notice Offences) Regulation 2011 _and the Road Transport Legislation Amendment (Penalty Levels and Fees) Regulation 2011 have been published on the Legislation NSW web site and commenced on Friday. The penalty level and fee increases are "generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index".
