Attorney-General McClelland and Law Council of Australia launch South Pacific initiatives

The Commonwealth Attorney General, the Hon Robert McClelland MP, and the President of the Law Council of Australia, Alexander Ward, today launched the South Pacific Lawyers Association, a new professional organisation for lawyers to build expertise across the Pacific region. Read more
The Attorney has also announced funding for the establishment and administration of a clearinghouse at the Law Councilâs Secretariat to support the Australian legal professionâs pro bono work in the Asia-Pacific.� See the Law Council's media release
