Included in the recent_ Federal Magistrates Court Amendment Rules 2011 (No1)_ are rules in relation to the "genuine steps" requirement for certain types of proceedings as required under the _Civil Dispute Resolution Act 2011. _The "genuine steps" rules are scheduled to commence on 1 August 2011.� The Applicant's Genuine Steps Statement and Respondent's Genuine Steps Statement are available on the Federal Magistrates Court website
