JSTOR offers free access to early journal content

JSTOR is a digital archive, which�provides scholars and researchers with access to�past and current issues of more than 1,400 scholarly journals across more than 50 academic disciplines. JSTOR recently announced that content published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 elsewhere, will be freely available to the public for reading and downloading. This includes nearly 500,000 articles from more than 200 journals, representing approximately�six per cent�of the total content on JSTOR. Search JSTOR>
