Retirement of Giles JA

The Hon Justice Roger Giles will retire as a judge of appeal of the Supreme Court on Friday, 23 December 2011. A formal ceremony to mark this occasion will be held in Federal Court 1, L21, Queens Square, at 9.30am on Friday, 16 December. Attorney General Greg Smith SC will speak on behalf of the bar. Barristers should wear robes and wigs. Senior counsel wear full-bottomed wigs.
