Wanted: legal members of NSW health professional councils

The NSW�Health Professional Councils Authority is seeking suitably qualified legal members, to be appointed by the minister for health. There�will soon be 14 councils, such as the Chiropractic Council of NSW; the�Dental Council of NSW; the Podiatry Council of NSW; and the Chinese Medicine Council of NSW. The�councils' primary responsibility is protection of the public by managing complaints about the health, performance and conduct of registered health professionals, and is undertaken in partnership with the Health Care Complaints Commission. Interested members should complete a nomination form and send it, together with a curriculum vitae and contact details of at least two referees, to�Corinne Brown at�the Bar Association.
