Appointments to the Federal Court and AAT

Dr John Griffiths SC is set to be appointed as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia, Attorney-General Nicola Roxon�announced today. Dr Griffiths will be assigned to the Sydney Registry. Also, the Hon Duncan Kerr SC will be appointed as president of the AAT and as a�judge of the Federal Court. Mr Kerr will be only the second Tasmanian appointed to the Federal Court, and the first in over 25 years. He�will also b�the first president of the AAT appointed from a state other than NSW, Victoria or Queensland.
