Next Week: Online Dispute Resolution Workshop

On Tuesday the 17 April, the ADR Committee in conjunction with the NSW Bar Dispute Resolution Centre are conducting a 2 hour online workshop. The session will address techniques of participating in or conducting online mediation and arbitration and will include presentations from telecommunications specialists Allcom/Cisco and from the Dispute Centre’s technology experts, demonstration of the use of documents in remote locations, and a short simulated arbitration involving cross-examination of a witness in a remote location.

Attendees should bring their laptops in order to get maximum benefit from this workshop.� IPads can also be used but will not provide full benefit. Regional members are invited to join by remote access. To do so, they will require a laptop with a camera.
