NSW Government prepares for WorkCover campaign

Minister for Finance & Services Greg Pearce today released an issues paper on the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme and announced a parliamentary committee as the next steps in preparation for changes to WorkCover. Mr Pearce said the scheme had a deficit of over $4 billion and would "fast become unviable". View the minister's announcement. The Bar Association will make a submission in response to the issues paper.
