Legal assistance review

The Allen Consulting Group has won a tender to�conduct a review of Australia’s Commonwealth-funded legal assistance services. All four Commonwealth legal assistance programs will be included in the review, namely Legal Aid Commissions, Community Legal Centres, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal services, and family violence prevention legal services. The review is to be completed by 30 June 2013. Terms of reference for the review are available on the department’s website.
