Amendments to the UCPR take effect today

As a result of representations by the New South Wales Bar Association, the Uniform Rules Committee has agreed to an amendment�to UCPR rule 4.4. The amendment adds a new subrule (4) that allows a party's barrister to sign a document setting out proposed consent orders between the parties. This amendment�commenced today.
