Information on CPD - Changes in technology

On 23 August 2012 the�Bar Council approved a new Continuing Professional Development Policy.� The previous policy had been in place for some time and no longer reflected current practice, in particular the absence of guidelines relating to online CPD.
The new policy, recommended by the Education Committee, considered�changes in technology in the intervening period since the previous policy was approved.� The new policy also specifies additional requirements for readers.�
