Workers' legal costs still in limbo

The New South Wales Government has announced that it will be commencing the current workers compensation costs provisions on 1 October, and�establish a free legal assistance service for workers in the Workers Compensation Commission. The Bar Association and the Law Society have issued media releases expressing disappointment that the�free legal service for injured workers represents an incomplete solution to the ongoing issues of workers legal costs.
