NSW Government to amend the DPP Act

The NSW Government�has introduced the Director of Public Prosecutions Amendment (Disclosures) Bill 2012. The purpose of the bill, as provided by the attorney general in his second reading speech,�is to clarify the obligations of law enforcement officers to disclose to the�DPP material that is subject to a claim of privilege, public interest immunity or statutory immunity.
