Ombudsman reports on NSW Police use of Tasers

The New South Wales Ombudsman's Office has released its report,_ How Are Taser Weapons Used by NSW Police?_ The investigation began in October 2010 and evaluated data relating�556 individual police Taser use incidents.�The report�supports the ongoing use of Taser weapons by the NSWPF and concluded that�"the accountability framework was strong and in most cases worked well".
