Tonight: Seven Years in the Life of Fiduciary Duties
29/10/2012

Tonight's CPD will be presented by Philippa Ryan and chaired by Dr Christos Mantziaris.
The seminar will explore the aftermath of the collapse of the South Sea Company. As well as ruining many and causing the economy of England to falter, it was the first significant event to cause the legislature to intervene in the administration of trusts. For decades after the bubble burst, investors continued to discover breaches by their fiduciaries. One such case led to the downfall of the Lord Chancellor. As a result, the landscape of fiduciary duties was changed forever.
