Legal profession responds to bail reforms

Yesterday's In Brief included an item concerning the Government's response to the NSW Law Reform Commission's recommendations concerning bail reform. A number of legal profession and other groups, included the New South Wales Bar Association, have responded to the Government's announcement. Today's report in the Sydney Morning Herald includes comments from the President, Phillip Boulten SC, concerning the Government's proposals.
