World Congress on Family Law and Children

The World Congress on Family Law and Children's Rights will be convened for the sixth time in Sydney Australia between 17 and 20 March 2013. The Congress is a major international human rights event focussing on children and on family law. It examines the responses of states and individuals to the needs of children for their protection and the advancement of their rights recognised in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and given effect to in metropolitan and international law and practice. It seeks out solutions to the problems for children found in the abrogation of those rights.
