The Footpath Library has announced an exciting new short story competition. The Footpath Library aims to make books more accessible to the homeless and disadvantaged members of our society, change our attitudes to these people and encourage literacy. The Footpath Library Chair, Jaqui Lane, said: âThe inaugural theme of the competition is homelessness. Entries close at 5.00pm on 3 May 2013.
