Government right to silence and defence disclosure legislation passes

The Legislative Council last night passed the The Evidence (Evidence of Silence) and Criminal Procedure Amendment (Pre-Trial Defence Disclosure) bills by a narrow margin over opposition from Labor and the Greens.
