The Motor Accident Injuries Amendment Bill 2013 was introduced by the Government into the Legislative Assembly yesterday. View the Bill and Second Reading Speech. The Bill seeks to establish a no fault compulsory third party scheme. President Phillip Boulten SC stated today that The New South Wales Bar Association recognises the need to cut premiums and make the CTP scheme more efficient, but we cannot understand the rationale for extending benefits to drivers who cause motor accidents and reducing compensation for innocent victims”.
