Allowances paid to witnesses

Attorney General Greg Smith SC has approved an increase in allowances paid to Crown witnesses by 2.45 per cent. The increase is set out in a new Scale of Allowances Paid to Witnesses, published in the Government Gazette and which take effect from today, 1 July 2013.
