Outstanding family law fees

The Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia have identified what they call "a considerable amount of unpaid fees" for the 2011/12 and 2012/13 financial years, and will take steps to recover them. The Bar Association has been advised by the courts that family law registries will write to lawyers and litigants with outstanding setting down and hearing fees, setting out options for repayment.
