This week, 7-14 July, is NAIDOC Week - an opportunity to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to participate in a range of activities and to support Indigenous communities. Among the many causes worth supporting is the Wall of Hands, a campaign by the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF), which is dedicated to teaching those in marginalised Indigenous communities how to read and write.
