NSW Bar Victorious Again

Bar FC continued its run to the top of the ladder with a convincing 1-0 victory over Transgrid today. Silky Barcelonaesque skills saw Bar FC keep possession for most of the game and a number of excellent chances to win the game more comfortably were missed.

Di Michael at the pointy end gave Bar FC the lead after great lead up work by Gritsci and Ben Phillips. Cameron Jackson cruelly had a shot at goal denied by a hand that would have seen many a player shown the red card.

Great support play from a solid defensive line consisting of Vickers, d’Arville, McCarthy and John Harris (available as he was passed over by Chelsea FC for the much younger Schwarzer).

Bar FC's next game is on Friday, 19 July at 1.15. All lovers of the beautiful game are welcome.
