President Phil Boulten SC's defence of the judiciary and his critique of the NSW Government's proposed ''one-punch'' laws have not gone un-noticed by Ray Hadley and other elements of the media. The Sydney Morning Herald quotes Mr Boulten as saying: "Rather than simply proposing reactive changes to the criminal law on the run, the government needs to look at liquor industry reform to strengthen restrictions on the availability of alcohol". In addition, the president was interviewed this morning on 2SM. Transcripts are available in the Bar Library. 14 November 2013 #Advocacy
