Productivity Commission review of access to justice in civil disputes

The Australian Government has asked the Productivity Commission to undertake a 15-month inquiry into Australiaâs system of civil dispute resolution, with a focus on constraining costs and promoting access to justice and equality before the law. The Bar Association's submission is among the 74 received by the commission. It can be viewed here.
