LCA concern over complementary protection provisions

The Law Council of Australia is concerned by the introduction of the Migration Amendment (Regaining Control Over Australiaâs Protection Obligations) Bill 2013, into parliament on 4 December 2013. In a media statement released today, it queries the necessity to remove components of the visa regime designed to provide protection for those shown to be at risk of significant harm.
