community forum on Zoe’s Law will be held at the Newcastle City Hall on Monday, 24 February at 5.30pm. Bar Association President Phil Boulten SC will be among the experts discussing what the effect of Zoe’s Law is likely to be. No RSVP is required. The Bill, colloquially known as ‘Zoe’s law’, is currently before the NSW Parliament. It gives rights to an unborn foetus and has the ability to restrict a woman’s right to choose and leave doctors who perform abortions open to prosecution.
