Web watch: crowd sourced legal research from Canada

08/04/2014

In Brief has stumbled across CanLII Connects - a form of crowd-sourced legal research from Canada. According to one reviewer of the site, "anyone can access these materials, but not everyone can contribute". Comments and publishing of new materials are all restricted, which doesn't mean "lawyers only". Instead, "prospective members must demonstrate their ability to create viable legal analysis". Francophiles, in particular, will enjoy the site.
