The attorney general is seeking applications from qualified persons for the appointment of a Deputy Senior Public Defender, a Public Defender based in Sydney and a Public Defender based in Wollongong. All three appointments will be pursuant to the Public Defenders Act 1995 for a fixed term of up to seven years that may be renewed, following an initial 12 month probationary period.
