The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security's review of ASIO's questioning and detention powers has published a list of recommendations. Among those is Recommendation 2: that ASIO’s current detention powers, as set out in Division 3 of Part III of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979, be repealed. This follows years of Law Council advocacy for their repeal. Learn more here and here.
