JCA warns of judges in the crossfire of court restructuring

The Judicial Conference of Australia has issued a statement expressing concern that judges might be "in the crossfire of debate" over proposed restructure of the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court. Similar concerns have been expressed by the presidents of the West Australian, Queensland and New South Wales Bar Associations.
