Female applicants to Canada's federal courts outnumber men for first time

For the first time in Canada female applicants to Federal Courts have outnumbered men. The President of the Canadian Bar Assoc quoted, “a phenomenally good news story. Women are now applying to be judges at a rate that is reflective of their presence in their profession."
