The 2019 Maurice Byers lecture will be given by the Hon Justice Walter Sofronoff, president of the Queensland Court of Appeal. The lecture titled “The Constitutional Significance of the Barrister in Australia” will be held on 29 August in the Common Room of the NSW Bar Association. All are welcome to attend. Start time will be 5.15pm
