Civil Liability (Non-economic Loss) Amendment Order 2019

The Attorney General, the Hon Mark Speakman SC in pursuance of section 17 of the Civil Liability Act 2002, made the Civil Liability (non-economic loss) Amendment Order 2019 on 1 October 2019.

The object of this Order is to amend the Civil Liability (Non-economic Loss) Order 2010 to adjust, for the year commencing 1 October 2019, the maximum amount that may be awarded for damages for non-economic loss under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (the Act).
