Nominations for the 2020 Bar Council closed at 4.00pm on Tuesday, 8 October. Nominations were received from 28 senior counsel and 46 members of the junior bar (including 10 under 5s). Ballot papers will be posted on Tuesday, 15 October 2019 when the ballot opens.
