Tomorrow: The International Criminal Court At 21 Years: What’s Happening At The Court And Where Is It Going?

On Tuesday 19 November, the Human Rights Committee will present a seminar examining the role and operations of the International Criminal Court. The seminar will focus on current issues and recent developments at the Court. Helen Brady has worked in international criminal law over the past 23 years. She has led the prosecution and argued in numerous appeals in war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide cases at the ICC, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and held senior roles at those bodies. She was a negotiator and drafter of the Rome Statute for the ICC and its rules of procedure and evidence.
