Office Bearers

At a meeting of the Bar Council on 18 November 2025, the following were elected as office bearers of the NSW Bar Association:

• President: Dominic Toomey SC
• Senior Vice-President: Michael Izzo SC
• Junior Vice-President: Vanessa Whittaker SC
• Treasurer: Catherine Gleeson SC
• Secretary: Rose Khalilizadeh

Bar Council vacancy

Following his appointment to the Supreme Court, James Emmett SC has resigned from his position on Bar Council, effective 20 November 2025. In accordance with the Bar Association’s Constitution, Amy Munro SC will fill the vacant position.
