Australian Bar Association office bearers

The Australian Bar Association Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 25 November 2025. At that meeting the following office bearers were elected:

President: Michael Izzo SC – New South Wales Bar

Senior Vice-President: Damien O’Brien KC – Queensland Bar

Junior Vice-President: Sam Hay KC – Victorian Bar

Treasurer: Sally Heidenreich – South Australian Bar

Chair of the Advocacy Training Council: Mark Roberts KC – South Australian Bar

Chair of Conferences: Kylie Nomchong SC – New South Wales Bar

Róisín Annesley KC has completed her term as ABA President, and taken up the office of Immediate Past President.
