Nominations now open for the Terry Keaney and Bondie Awards

The Terry Keaney Award Committee is calling for nominations for the Terry Keaney Award and a new award: The Bondie Award.
The Bondie Award is in honour of the late Greg Bond – an extraordinary ALS solicitor renowned for his commitment to justice for his clients.
The criteria for the Bondie Award are:
Humility and/or quietness in achievement;
High level competence as a criminal defence lawyer;
Exceptional commitment to clients (such as advocating for clients who may be charged with less serious/repeat offending but who deserve the best representation); and
Commitment to social justice.
The criteria for the Terry Keaney Award are:
Dedication to the profession;
Excellence as a criminal defence lawyer;
Commitment to clients; and
Concern for social justice.
Nominations may be made at the links below and must be submitted by 5pm on 5 May 2025.
