Expressions of Interest for the Lower Ground Floor Wentworth & Selborne Chambers

20/05/2025

The NSW Bar Association will be relocating its offices in Wentworth & Selborne Chambers from 1 July 2025; the Common Room, Board Room and Library will remain in their current locations.

The relocation of the offices leaves approximately 485 square metres available for either lease or license.

The area is currently fitted out to a high standard and would accommodate about 12 individual offices plus large open plan areas that would be suitable for junior members of the Bar, Chambers Staff, and/or reception areas and could also be reconfigured as meeting rooms.

Counsel’s Chambers Limited owns and operates the buildings in which the available space is located and is inviting expressions of interest for either short term license or long-term lease of the space. The space is being offered subject to:

a) a lease or license by Barristers’ Chambers (not individuals);

b) where the minimum number of rooms to be licensed would be 5 or 6, licences for smaller areas will not be considered;

c) dual occupancy will be considered (ie: if two Chambers are interested in sharing the space);

d) a longer-term lease is also available for the whole area; and

e) licences will be based on month-to-month arrangements.

The area spans across both Wentworth & Selborne Chambers and has access to the lifts on both sides of the buildings, it has exclusive kitchen facilities and shared bathrooms on both the Wentworth & Selborne side of the Floor. Network services are also available through Counsel’s Chambers.

Reconfiguration of the space may also be possible based on a longer-term lease being negotiated on acceptable terms.

Chambers wishing to inspect the space should contact Counsel’s Chambers directly.
