NSW Labor adopts justice reinvestment

NSW Labor has announced it will commit $4 million to three justice reinvestment pilot projects aimed at reducing Aboriginal disadvantage and incarceration rates. The New South Wales Bar Association, in its recent pre-election policy statement, identified the over-representation of Indigenous people in the state's prison system as a major cause for concern.
