Wanted: judges for ALSA competitions

Organisers of the Australian Law Students Association (ALSA) Conference 2015 are requesting the assistance of barristers to adjudicate student competitions at this year’s conference, which will be held in Sydney in July. These competitions are contested by participants from 35 law student societies around Australia. The ALSA Conference competitions include Negotiation, Witness Examination, the Norton Rose Client Interview Competition, the King & Wood Mallesons Championship Moot and the Australian Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot.
The approximate scheduling of rounds will be as follows:
- Tuesday, 7 July: 9.00am–11.00am and 1.00pm-3.00pm
- Wednesday, 8 July: 9.00am–11.00am
- Thursday, 9 July: 2.00pm–4.00pm
- Friday, 10 July: 9.30am–11.30am and 12.00pm–2.00pm
Note that some competitions may not run for the full time allotted. If you are able to participate in any of the judging at the conference, please contact alsa.conference.competitions@gmail.com with details of the competition(s) in which you would like to judge (we encourage you to indicate all that interest you), and for which times you would be available.
